✩•̩̩͙*˚ 9:23AM – GETO SUGURU.
word count : 1K. tags : fem!reader, domestic fluff, tattooed/pierced suguru, husband!suguru, a bit of nsfw content (not quite but mentions of it).
You sigh in contentment as the sweet scent of sugar caresses your nostrils, making your stomach growl in hunger. The only thing you can hear in the brightly lit kitchen is the sound of your spatula rattling against the frying pan, the oil fizzling as you finish cooking breakfast. You place the treats on a plate and start to arrange your masterpiece when your breath suddenly catches in your throat. Tattooed arms are tightly wrapped around your waist, holding you in place, and the hint of a smile tugs at your lips as he starts to sway both of your bodies.
You know who’s behind you, the reason your body suddenly feels so warm and light with love. You could recognize him blind, the gentle caress of his fingers on your bare skin enough to spark a raging fire inside of you.
His front fits perfectly against your back, warm and firm, and you breathe him in. You’ve always loved the way he smelled, of rose and musk.
“Good morning, wife. What are you making? I’m starving.” Suguru’s husky voice whispers in your ear, the hot air making your skin tingle as his large hands lovingly trace patterns on the skin of your hips.
Suguru has his face pressed against the back of your neck, a knowing smirk on his lips, before he starts leaving a trail of feathery soft kisses on your shoulder. The pecks are small, his mouth only ghosting over your skin, but that’s all it takes to make you shiver.
The man lets out a deep laugh when he notices how flustered you are from his touch, his eyes crinkling with amusement. He squeezes you against him even tighter.
“Your favorite! You definitely don’t deserve me.” You casually grin at him, and he thinks you’re absolutely right, because you’re a sight to behold. He’s thinking about you, and you about him, trying to ignore how hot he feels against you, how attractive his raspy voice is in the morning, and how pretty he is when he just got out of bed, your love bites marring his chest.
“I sure don’t.” He chuckles, kissing your cheeks before he starts to ramble about his plans for the day with Satoru.
And you’re definitely listening.
You’re definitely not thinking about him, about the way you can definitely feel him pressed up against your backside, hard and ready.
You’re definitely not thinking about how good he made you feel last night, whispering words of love and desire in your ear as he thrusted inside you, moaning your name like a mantra. You try not to. You definitely do, but the marks that ornate his skin aren’t helping you focus.
You squeal as Suguru suddenly turns you around, having noticed how quiet you’ve gotten. He backs you up against the counter, standing tall above you, his muscular arms encasing your frame and making it impossible for you to escape his embrace.
A single peek at your warm cheeks tells him everything he needs to know, and he almost can’t stop himself from cooing at you. He always found it so adorable how you shied away from his gaze even long after you two got married, how your cheeks never stopped reddening when he was looking at you way too intently for way too long.
His eyes are soft as he tucks away a stray strand of your hair behind your ear, his hand gently moving lower so it can rest on your cheek.
You crane your neck so you can get a proper look at him in all his glory. He has this little smirk he always sports when he’s teasing you - one of his favorite pastimes, and his eyes sparkle with mischief, his lips full and swollen from last night. You must’ve been staring a little too hard, because his smile suddenly becomes a grin.
“I know I have pretty lips, love. Now, what I’d like to know is what you’re gonna do about it?” He laughs, his voice low and filled with implications, the grip he has on you tightening as he speaks.
Suguru sees your gaze hesitantly go from his full lips to his clouded eyes, and he almost rolls his eyes, sharply lifting your head so it’s angled with his own, before hungrily crashing his lips against yours in a passionate kiss. It takes you a moment before you respond, your teeth pulling and sucking his bottom lip, and you smile into the kiss as you hear him moan, because you know he likes it when you bite him. You part, your chest rising and falling against his, his pierced nipples grazing against your front.
Your eyes lock, and Suguru sports a smug look, the kind you just want to smack off his face. But it’s hard to deny him when he’s like this because of you, hair all messed up from the improvised make-out session, his lips full and swollen and his skin slightly glistening under the summer heat. Your lips part to say something, the three little words hanging at the edge of your tongue, but he doesn’t let you. He swallows your thoughts with his lips, harshly pulling at your lower lip to have you grant him access, and when you do he doesn’t waste time, deepening the kiss and sucking on your tongue. You harshly pull on his ponytail, a small noise escaping your throat when you feel the small metal bead embedded in his tongue in your mouth. You tug and grab at him, and his hairband finally snaps, causing his long black hair to cascade down his naked back. You immediately grab a handful of it for balance when he effortlessly lifts you up by the waist to set you down on the kitchen counter, the food now discarded to the side.
You tightly wrap your legs around his waist, his slender hands squeezing your thighs as he breaks the kiss, his warm lips now nipping at the skin of your neck, sucking and biting to leave bruises, while his hands are busy unfastening your pajama pants.
“I told you I was hungry, love” He mutters but you don’t hear him, and you don’t need to, because he doesn’t waste any more time before his lips hastily go and find yours again.

✨His true fate - Part 6/?✨
Summary: Jensen hasn't been happy for years. But it seems almost impossible for him to escape. After another nasty argument between him and his wife, he decides to visit his ´former´ best friend for his birthday. Back in Austin, an encounter awaits him that will turn his life completely upside down.
Pairing: Jensen x Reader
Warnings: Language, age gap, "cheating", kinda spicy scenes
Word Count: 7503
A/N: English isn’t my first language, so please be lenient. 💙✨
The second you stepped into your house, closing the door softly behind you, Jensen let out a guttural yell and slammed both palms against the steering wheel. “What the fuck was I thinking?”, he cursed loudly, the frustration and regret boiling over.
He sat there, breathing heavily, replaying the events of the last twenty-four hours in his mind. What had he expected? You had only spent one night together, sharing a few stolen kisses and vulnerable moments. He was much older than you, still legally married with children to think about. Why had he even considered that something more could come from this?
Jensen leaned his forehead against the steering wheel, his thoughts a chaotic whirlwind. You had been clear about your reservations from the start, reminding him of the age gap and the complications of his situation. Yet, despite all the red flags, he had allowed himself to hope, to believe that maybe, just maybe, there was a chance for something real.
“And now look at me”, he muttered to himself, his voice filled with self-reproach. “Rejected in the worst way possible”.
Meanwhile, inside your apartment, you leaned heavily against the closed door, trying to reconcile the whirlwind of emotions that had consumed you since meeting Jensen. You couldn't believe how drawn you felt to someone you had only just met. Love at first sight, soulmates, fate—all of it seemed like romantic notions from movies, not something that could happen in real life. Yet here you were, grappling with feelings that had taken you completely by surprise.
You paced the living room, trying to shake off the lingering thoughts of Jensen's warm smile, his gentle touch, and the way he had made you feel alive, even if only for a fleeting moment. You hated how your heart had skipped a beat every time he looked at you, how your thoughts kept drifting back to him despite your best efforts to push them away.
"It's just a moment", you whispered to yourself, a mantra to ward off the ache in your chest. "In a few days, I won't even think about him again. Jensen will be just a little memory in the back of my head".
But deep down, you knew it wasn't that simple. There was something about Jensen that had stirred a longing within you, a desire for connection and understanding that you hadn't felt in a long time. It wasn't just about physical attraction or a moment of shared intimacy. It was the glimpse of what could have been—a bond that had the potential to grow into something deeper, if only circumstances had been different.
You sighed heavily, sinking onto the couch and burying your face in your hands. You needed to focus, on letting go of the fantasy that had briefly taken hold of your heart.
As the hours passed, you busied yourself with mundane tasks, trying to distract yourself from the ache of disappointment and longing.
Jensen, too, drove through the streets with a heavy heart, his mind replaying your parting words over and over.
As Jensen parked the car in front of Jared’s house, he hesitated for a long moment before finally gathering the resolve to step out and head inside. Gen had taken the kids to her mother’s for a few days, which meant Jensen and Jared had the house to themselves. It was supposed to be a time to relax and enjoy each other’s company, but Jensen’s mind was weighed down with thoughts of you and the conversation that had just transpired.
When Jensen entered the house, he found Jared sitting on the couch, a slice of pizza in hand despite the early hour. Jared’s easygoing demeanor shifted as soon as he saw Jensen’s expression. He could tell something was off just by looking at his friend.
“Hey, man”, Jared greeted cautiously, setting the pizza down on a napkin beside him. “You’re back early. How did it go?”.
Jensen sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair before dropping onto the nearest armchair. He stared at the floor for a moment, gathering his thoughts.
“Not great”, Jensen finally admitted, his voice tinged with regret. “Fucking awful actually”.
Jared’s brow furrowed in concern as he leaned forward, his gaze fixed on Jensen. “What happened?”.
Jensen hesitated, grappling with how to articulate the mess he had made. “I screwed up, Jared”, he confessed quietly. “She… she said she doesn’t even want a friendship, let alone something more”.
Jared’s expression shifted from concern to confusion. “How did that happen?”, he asked, genuinely puzzled. “She seemed pretty into you”.
“I don’t know, man”, he muttered. “I thought… I thought there was something there, you know? But I pushed too hard, too fast. I guess she realized it was all too complicated”.
Jared nodded slowly, processing Jensen’s words. “So, what now?”, he asked, his tone gentle but probing.
“I don’t know”, Jensen admitted. “I need to figure this out, Jared. I can’t keep going on like this”.
Jared sighed deeply, watching Jensen with a mixture of sympathy and concern. He knew his friend well enough to understand that this rejection would weigh heavily on him for some time. Seeing Jensen genuinely attracted to someone was a rarity, and it was clear that you had left a deep impression.
“Should I text her?”, Jared asked cautiously, sensing Jensen’s despondency. “Maybe just to check in, see if there’s anything salvageable?”.
Jensen shook his head slowly, his gaze fixed on the floor. “No”, he murmured quietly. “She’s done with me, Jared. She made that clear”.
“But what did you say to her?”, Jared pressed gently, leaning forward as he searched for answers. “What turned her off so hard?”.
Jensen rubbed his temples wearily, frustration etched on his face. His shoulders slumping even further as he tried to articulate the turmoil inside him.
“I couldn’t even sit down in a cafe with her”, Jensen muttered, his frustration evident. “I was afraid someone might recognize me, you know? And then I took her to the park instead. I kept looking around, making sure no one would see us. She must have thought I was ashamed of her or just… just cheating on my wife without any deeper meaning”.
Jared listened quietly.
“Shit”, Jared finally replied, his voice sympathetic. “She must have felt really sidelined… Did you explain to her about being an actor, about why you couldn’t be seen with her while still being married?”, Jared asked.
Jensen shook his head, his frustration evident. “No”, he muttered. “I should have, but by then, the damage was already fucking done. She had already made up her mind about me”.
Jared sat back, mulling over Jensen’s words as they lingered in the air between them. He could sense Jensen’s regret and genuine feelings for you, despite the short time you had spent together. The way Jensen spoke about you made it clear that there was more to this than just a passing attraction.
After a moment of thoughtful silence, Jared spoke up again, his voice softer now, “You really care about her, don’t you?”.
Jensen looked up, meeting Jared’s gaze with a mixture of vulnerability and resignation. “Yeah”, he admitted quietly, his voice thick with emotion. “More than I expected to, honestly. There’s something about her… I can’t explain it”.
Jared nodded knowingly. He had seen Jensen with women before, but this seemed different. There was a depth to Jensen’s feelings that went beyond physical attraction or casual interest.
“She’s under your skin”, Jared observed gently. “Sometimes, that happens when you least expect it”.
“I think I’m gonna take a nap”, Jensen mumbled finally, his voice tinged with exhaustion. “I just need to clear my head”.
Jared nodded understandingly, removing his hand from Jensen’s shoulder. “Yeah, go get some rest”, he encouraged gently.
Two days had passed since you met Jensen for that stupid coffee. Despite your best efforts to move on and push the thoughts of him aside, his presence lingered in your mind like an unwelcome guest. Every minute seemed to be consumed with thoughts of Jensen—his smile, his voice, the way he looked at you. It was maddening how someone you had known for such a short time could have such a profound impact on your thoughts and emotions.
You found yourself replaying the moments spent together in your mind, analyzing every word and gesture. Had you been too harsh in your judgment of him? Should you have given him another chance to explain? These questions gnawed at you, fueling a sense of regret and longing.
Needing to pick up tomatoes for dinner, you headed to the nearby grocery store. As you approached the checkout counter, you spotted Jensen in a nearby aisle. Your heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, uncertainty flooding your senses. Should you talk to him? Apologize? But before you could decide, three girls approached Jensen.
They greeted him with enthusiasm, engaging him in lively conversation. Laughter echoed from their group, and you felt rooted to the spot, watching their interaction unfold. Seeing Jensen surrounded by attention only reinforced your earlier convictions. You couldn’t deny the pang of disappointment and frustration that washed over you.
The way he interacted with those girls confirmed your belief that perhaps you had made the right decision to distance yourself. It seemed he wasn’t worth the emotional turmoil you had experienced.
But unbeknownst to you, those girls were merely fans.
You bit your tongue and turned back toward the checkout counter, determined to ignore the tumultuous feelings Jensen’s presence stirred within you. As you paid for your tomatoes, your mind raced with conflicting thoughts. You hadn’t noticed Jensen spotting you, his focus clearly drawn to the fans around him.
Meanwhile, Jensen bid farewell to the enthusiastic fans with a polite smile, his mind distracted by the sight of you in the store. He quickly paid for his item, a six-pack of beer, and headed outside, scanning the area in search of you.
Outside the store, Jensen’s heart raced with anticipation and uncertainty. He wanted to find you, to explain himself, to make things right somehow. The regret of not fully explaining his situation gnawed at him, and he hoped for another chance to connect with you.
As you walked towards your car, each step felt like a deliberate effort to distance yourself from the emotional turmoil inside. You reached your car, fumbling with the keys as you tried to unlock the door, your thoughts a whirlwind of confusion and unresolved feelings.
Spotting you near your car, a surge of relief and nervousness washed over him. Jensen hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to approach you after everything that had transpired between you.
Taking a deep breath, Jensen walked towards you, his pace measured yet determined. He approached cautiously, not wanting to startle you but desperate to bridge the gap that had grown between you since that coffee.
“Hey”, Jensen called out softly as he neared your car, his voice carrying a mix of apprehension and hope. He stopped a short distance away, giving you space while silently hoping you would turn to acknowledge him.
Your heart raced at the sound of Jensen's voice calling out to you. Mentally cursing yourself, you turned around slowly, trying to steady yourself. Your knees felt weak just from meeting his gaze again, the intensity of the emotions from the past few days flooding back all at once.
You managed a soft "hey", your voice barely above a whisper. You attempted a smile, but it felt forced, not reaching your eyes where the turmoil of conflicting emotions lingered.
Jensen noticed the tension in your smile, his heart sinking a little at the sight of your guarded expression. He took a hesitant step closer, the distance between you palpable yet daunting.
"Can we talk?", Jensen asked earnestly, his voice tinged with both regret and a desperate longing for understanding.
You hesitated, uncertain whether you wanted to reopen that door of vulnerability. Yet, deep down, a part of you yearned for closure, for clarity on what had transpired between you.
"I… I guess so", you replied softly, still grappling with your own conflicted feelings.
Jensen nodded slightly, sensing your hesitation but grateful for the chance to speak with you again.
“How have you been?”, Jensen asked gently, his voice tentative yet sincere. His eyes searched yours, hoping to gauge your mood and perhaps find a glimmer of warmth or forgiveness.
You shifted uncomfortably, unsure of how to respond. His question was simple enough, but the complexity of your emotions made it difficult to formulate a straightforward answer.
“Fine”, you replied finally, your voice quiet yet firm. “Just… fine”.
Jensen nodded slowly, sensing the weight behind your words.
“I’ve been thinking a lot about our… conversation”, Jensen continued cautiously, choosing his words with care. “I didn’t handle it well. I should have explained things better”.
You nodded slightly, acknowledging his words without fully accepting them.
Jensen sighed heavily, a mix of frustration and remorse evident on his face as he brushed a hand over his features. The baseball cap he wore was turned backward, making him look even better, which tugged at your already conflicted emotions.
“Look, I’m sorry”, Jensen began, his voice earnest as he met your gaze with sincerity. “I didn’t mean to come off the way I did that day. It’s just… I’m not good at this kind of thing. And I should have been clearer”.
His words hung in the air, vulnerable and genuine. You could see the effort in his eyes, the desire to make amends for the misunderstanding that had driven you apart.
“I know I messed up”, Jensen continued, his tone softer now, more introspective. “I should have told you about… everything. About my situation, about why I acted the way I did”.
You listened. His admission of fault was unexpected yet somehow comforting.
Jensen took a breath, gathering his thoughts as he looked at you with a mixture of sincerity and vulnerability. His voice was low and earnest as he continued, wanting desperately for you to understand.
"I want you to know that I'm not a cheater", Jensen said firmly, his gaze unwavering. "There's a lot more going on than just my marriage. It's complicated… But… Meeting you… it stirred up feelings I haven't felt in a long time".
He paused, searching your face for any sign of acceptance or understanding. "I just want you to know that I'm not an asshole", he added, his voice tinged with a hint of self-reproach. "I never meant to mislead you or hurt you. I should have been more upfront about everything".
Jensen's words hung in the air, his sincerity palpable. You could sense the turmoil within him, the weight of his own guilt and the genuine desire to set things right between you. It was clear that he carried a burden of regret, and his openness now seemed like a genuine attempt to bridge the gap that had formed between you.
As you hesitated, Jensen stepped even closer, carefully placing a hand on your upper arm. His touch was gentle yet filled with unspoken apologies and a plea for understanding. Your heart raced, torn between the comfort of his presence and the uncertainty that still lingered.
“I… I need to go”, you whispered softly, your voice barely audible over the bustling sounds of the street.
As you whispered your need to leave, Jensen reluctantly withdrew his hand, nodding in quiet acceptance. His gaze followed you as you turned and hurried away. He stood there for a moment, watching your car pull out of the parking lot and drive off into the distance.
Jensen felt a mix of disappointment and understanding wash over him. He knew deep down that rushing things had pushed you away, yet he couldn't shake the regret of not being able to convey his feelings clearly enough. As you vanished from sight, he couldn't deny the ache in his chest, a testament to the depth of emotions you had stirred within him.
For the past two days, you had occupied his thoughts incessantly. Despite his attempts to distract himself, your presence lingered in his mind, haunting him with what-ifs and regrets. He had hoped that time would dull the intensity of his feelings, but instead, they had only grown stronger.
As the day wore on, Jensen found himself drowning his sorrows in a haze of alcohol with Jared. What had started as a casual drink had quickly escalated into a full-blown session of trying to forget, with each glass bringing a temporary reprieve from the ache in his heart.
The conversation between Jensen and Jared had meandered from the upcoming convention to more personal matters, inevitably circling back to you. Jared, ever the supportive friend, listened as Jensen poured out his frustrations and regrets about the encounter earlier that day.
“I saw her today”, Jensen slurred slightly, his voice tinged with melancholy. “Tried to talk to her… but it just went to shit again”.
Jared nodded sympathetically, his own words slightly slurred from the effects of alcohol. “Damn, man. I’m sorry it went down like that”.
“Yeah”, Jensen muttered, taking another sip of his drink. “Should’ve known better”.
Just then, Jensen’s phone buzzed on the table, breaking the heavy atmosphere of their conversation. He glanced at the screen and saw Danneel’s name flashing in the caller ID.
“Danneel’s calling”, Jensen announced. He sighed heavily before answering the call, barely able to say “Hi”, before Danneel launched into a tirade.
“Jensen! You were supposed to text the gardener to stop cutting the trees in the garden! I can’t believe you forgot again!”, Danneel’s voice came through loud and clear, filled with frustration.
Jared glanced over at Jensen, his eyebrows raised in concern as he listened to the one-sided conversation. He knew how intense Danneel could be when things didn’t go according to plan.
“Calm down”, Jensen tried to interject, but Danneel cut him off.
“No, I will not calm down! This is important!”, Danneel continued, her tone sharp and authoritative.
Jensen sighed again, running a hand through his hair in exasperation. He glanced at Jared apologetically, mouthing the words “Dee’s on a roll”.
“I’m sorry, okay? I’ll take care of it”, Jensen finally managed to say, his voice resigned.
Danneel huffed audibly on the other end of the line. “You better, Jensen!”, she retorted.
“I’ll handle it”.
“Good. Don’t mess this up again!”, Danneel warned sternly before hanging up abruptly.
Jared chuckled sympathetically, shaking his head as he leaned back in his chair. "Man, She´s really got you on a tight leash these days", he remarked, his tone half-joking but with a touch of genuine concern.
Jensen chuckled dryly, nodding in agreement. "Tell me about it. She's always been on top of things, but lately…". He trailed off, his expression reflecting a mix of frustration and fond exasperation.
"Yeah, she's definitely gotten bitchier over the years", Jared added quietly, trying to lighten the mood.
Jensen shot him a playful glare, though there was a hint of appreciation in his eyes. "Watch it, Padalecki", he teased in a mock-serious tone. "Or I might just let her loose on you next".
Jared chuckled again, taking a sip of his drink before leaning in with a conspiratorial grin. “You know, I sometimes wonder if Danneel´s secretly training for a role as a drill sergeant”, he teased lightly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “I mean, she’s got the whole ‘command and conquer’ vibe down pat”.
Jensen let out a genuine laugh at that, appreciating Jared’s attempt to inject some humor into the situation. “You might be onto something there”, he replied, shaking his head.
Jared smirked playfully. “Yeah, just make sure she doesn’t take that whip and chains thing too literally”, he joked, winking.
Jensen snorted, nearly choking on his drink. “You’re not helping, man”, he managed to say between laughs, grateful for the distraction from his own thoughts.
Jared sighed, the laughter fading as he adopted a more serious tone. “You really need to think about ending things for real, Ackles”, he said quietly. “I actually talked to my lawyer earlier, and he said he’d be more than happy to take your case”.
Jensen’s smile faded, replaced by a look of resignation. He swirled his drink in his glass, staring at the amber liquid as if it held the answers to his problems. “I know”, he replied softly. “It’s just… complicated. There’s so much history, and the kids…”.
“I get it”, Jared interrupted gently. “But you’re miserable, man. It’s not just about you anymore. If you’re unhappy, the kids will pick up on that too. You deserve to be happy, and they deserve to see you happy”.
Jensen nodded slowly, absorbing Jared’s words. Deep down, he knew his friend was right. Living in limbo, trying to balance a failing marriage while navigating new feelings for someone else, wasn’t fair to anyone involved.
Jensen sighed deeply. He set his glass down on the table, the ice clinking softly as he considered Jared’s suggestion.
“Maybe talking to a lawyer wouldn’t be such a bad idea after all”.
Jared nodded in understanding, relieved that Jensen seemed open to taking a step towards resolving his situation. “It’s worth exploring your options”, he encouraged gently. “At least then you’ll know where you stand”.
Meanwhile, you sat alone at your kitchen table, absently pinching at your food with your fork. Guilt gnawed at you as you replayed the events with Jensen in your mind. He had tried to reach out, to apologize and explain, despite not deserving the treatment you had given him. Your thoughts and suspicions had clouded your judgment, painting Jensen in a negative light based on incomplete information.
"Maybe he's right", you whispered to yourself, pushing your food around on the plate without much appetite. "Maybe he isn't an asshole".
Jensen had shown vulnerability and sincerity, yet you had been quick to judge and dismiss him. The weight of regret settled in your chest, knowing you had acted rashly out of hurt and misunderstanding.
You recalled the look in Jensen's eyes, the genuine effort he had put into explaining himself. He didn't deserve to be treated with such skepticism, especially when he had been nothing but kind during your brief encounters.
"I should have given him a chance to explain", you murmured to yourself again.
You wondered if it was too late to reach out, to apologize for your assumptions and see where things could go from there.
You thought about it for a while, the internal debate raging between your sense of pride and your genuine desire to make things right. Eventually, the latter won out. Determined to apologize to Jensen and clear the air, you got dressed and headed to your car. Nervousness gnawed at you as you drove to Jared’s house. It was already 12 at night, and you weren’t sure if they would still be awake, but you felt compelled to go through with it.
When you arrived, you parked your car and took a deep breath before walking up to the front door. You rang the doorbell and waited anxiously, your heart pounding in your chest. After what felt like an eternity, the door finally opened, revealing Jared standing there with raised eyebrows, clearly surprised to see you.
“Hey”, Jared said, his tone a mix of curiosity and mild confusion.
You swallowed hard, feeling a bit out of place but determined to see this through. “Hi, Jared. I’m really sorry to bother you so late, but I… I need to talk to Jensen. Is he still awake?”.
Jared’s expression softened as he took in your anxious demeanor. He nodded and stepped aside to let you in. “Yeah, he’s here. We’ve been having a bit of a late night ourselves. Come on in”.
You followed Jared inside, your nerves only intensifying as you heard Jensen’s voice from the living room. Jared led you to where Jensen was sitting on the couch, a beer in hand. Jensen looked up, his expression shifting from surprise to a mix of curiosity and caution when he saw you.
Jensen wore grey sweatpants and a black hoodie, a stark contrast to the polished appearance he had presented earlier. Despite the casual attire and slightly messy hair, or perhaps because of it, he looked more attractive than ever. The sight made your heart pound even more.
“Hey”, Jensen said softly, sitting up straighter, his casual demeanor shifting to one of attentive curiosity. His eyes met yours with a mixture of surprise and anticipation.
You hesitated for a moment, feeling the weight of the situation, before finally speaking. “Do you have a moment?”, you asked, your voice trembling slightly.
Jensen nodded, his expression serious but welcoming. “Of course. Come on, sit down”.
You moved to the couch and took a seat next to him, the tension in the air palpable. Jensen watched you closely, his eyes reflecting a mix of concern and hope.
Jared sensed the need for privacy and quickly excused himself, saying, “I need to grab something from the garage. You two take your time”. With that, he left the room, leaving you alone with Jensen.
As you sat next to Jensen, the familiar scent of his cologne hit you, instantly making you feel nervous again. Memories of the way he had kissed and touched you in the pool flooded your mind, making your knees weak. You bit your lip and looked down, trying to steady your thoughts.
Jensen, sensing your hesitation, gently nudged your knee with his. “Hey, it’s okay”, he said softly, his voice filled with warmth. “Tell me what’s going on”.
If Jensen weren’t slightly drunk, he’d probably be just as nervous as you, but the alcohol gave him a semblance of calm. He watched you with a patient, encouraging expression, urging you to open up.
You took a deep breath, gathering your thoughts. “I’ve been thinking a lot about what happened”, you began, your voice shaky but determined. “About how I reacted and what I said. And… I realized I was unfair to you. I judged you without really understanding your situation, and I’m sorry for that”.
You continued, your voice barely above a whisper, “I had no right to be that bitchy. You’ve been nice to me from the start, and we’re not even together or anything. We just met, and I already caused so much drama, which usually isn’t me. It shouldn’t be an excuse for my behavior, but my emotions got the best of me”.
Jensen listened intently, his eyes never leaving yours. He could see the turmoil and sincerity in your expression, and it tugged at something deep inside him.
“The fact that I feel so drawn to you despite everything—your age, your relationship status, my own situation—it just made my mind blow up”, you admitted, feeling a weight lift off your shoulders as you spoke the truth. “I guess I didn’t know how to handle it, and I lashed out”.
Jensen sighed softly. “I get it”, he said gently. “Believe me, I do. This whole situation is a mess, and I didn’t handle it well either. I should have been more upfront about everything from the start”.
You whispered, barely audible, "I don’t know why there's such a pull, but I just can’t seem to stay away from you".
Jensen looked at you, his expression softening even more. He squeezed your hand gently, his voice low and sincere. He paused for a moment, searching for the right words to lighten the heavy atmosphere. "Must be my irresistible charm and good looks", he said with a half-smile, trying to inject a hint of humor to ease the tension.
You chuckled softly, appreciating his attempt to lighten the mood. "Yeah, that must be it", you replied with a playful grin, feeling a bit more at ease.
Jensen leaned closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, "Or maybe it's just that we're both a little crazy".
You laughed softly, feeling a warmth spread through you. "Maybe", you admitted, your eyes meeting his with a newfound sense of connection.
Jensen's gaze held yours, the unspoken understanding between you growing stronger with each passing moment.
A heavy silence settled between you both, each lost in your thoughts. Finally, you spoke up, breaking the tension. “So, what now?”.
Jensen sighed deeply, standing up from the couch. “I think the best thing right now is for me to get a coffee”, he admitted with a rueful smile. “I’m pretty drunk at the moment, and I want to be clear-headed for this conversation”.
You nodded, appreciating his honesty. “I’ll make us some”, you offered, rising to your feet, still remembering where the kitchen was.
As you made your way to the kitchen, Jensen followed closely behind. You could feel the weight of his presence, a mixture of comfort and tension. Once in the kitchen, you busied yourself with finding the coffee and setting up the machine, grateful for the distraction.
Jensen leaned against the counter, watching you with a thoughtful expression. “You know, I really didn’t expect to see you tonight”, he said quietly, his voice laced with vulnerability.
You glanced up at him, your hands pausing momentarily. “I wasn’t sure if I’d come either”, you admitted. “But I couldn’t stop thinking about how we left things”.
Jensen nodded, his gaze steady on yours. “I’m glad you did,” he said softly.
As the coffee machine hummed to life, filling the kitchen with the rich aroma of brewing coffee, you gathered your thoughts and looked up at Jensen. “Can I ask you something?”, you inquired softly, your eyes searching his for permission.
Jensen nodded, his expression earnest. “Of course. Ask me anything”.
You took a deep breath, feeling the weight of your question. “What exactly is going on with your marriage? You mentioned it was complicated, but… I need to understand”.
Jensen sighed deeply, running a hand through his hair as he considered his response. “It’s been a mess for a long time”, he began, his voice tinged with frustration and regret. “Danneel and I, we’ve grown apart over the years. We’re still together for the kids, and because… well, ending things is complicated too”.
You nodded slowly, absorbing his words. “So, you’re separated?”.
“Not officially”, Jensen admitted, his gaze dropping to the floor. “We live in the same house, well, sometimes… but we’re not… together. It’s like we’re just coexisting. And it’s hard, because I don’t want to hurt the kids. But at the same time, I can’t keep living like this”.
“That sounds indeed incredibly difficult”.
Jensen looked up, meeting your gaze. “It is… And then I met you, and it felt like… like a chance to feel something real again. But I didn’t handle it well".
The coffee machine beeped, signaling that it was ready. You turned to pour two cups, handing one to Jensen. “I’m sorry I jumped to conclusions”, you said softly.
Jensen took the cup of coffee from you, his fingers brushing yours briefly, sending a shiver down your spine. He took a long sip, savoring the warmth and the bitter-sweet taste, needing a moment to gather his thoughts.
You leaned against the kitchen counter opposite him, watching him intently, waiting for him to continue. His eyes met yours, a mixture of vulnerability and determination shining through.
Jensen took a deep breath, looking down at his coffee cup before meeting your gaze again. “I need to explain something about that day in the park”, he began, his voice steady but tinged with uncertainty. “The reason I kept looking around and why I couldn’t sit down in the café with you…”.
He paused, gathering his thoughts, then continued, “I’m an actor. Not like Channing Tatum famous, obviously, because you didn’t recognize me. But enough people know me that it can be a problem. So, maybe now you can understand why I can’t be seen with someone in public. Everyone thinks I’m happily married, so…”.
You nodded slowly, absorbing his words. “So, you were afraid of being seen with me and causing a scandal?”.
“Yeah, exactly. It’s complicated. I should have been upfront about it, but I didn’t want to scare you off or make things even more awkward”.
You took a deep breath, trying to calm the swirling thoughts in your mind and make sense of what Jensen had just revealed. His confession was a lot to process, especially since it would undoubtedly influence whatever was developing between the two of you. You swallowed, feeling a mix of understanding and apprehension.
Jensen could sense your tension, and he sighed heavily, his shoulders slumping slightly. “Yeah”, he murmured, his voice tinged with regret. “That’s why I didn’t say anything earlier. I didn’t want to complicate things further”.
You bit your lip, contemplating everything Jensen had just shared. The complexity of his situation weighed heavily on you, making it difficult to see a clear path forward.
Jensen, sensing your inner turmoil, mumbled, “Another dealbreaker, I know”. He rubbed his face with his hands, the frustration evident in his movements. “Sometimes, I wish I was just a normal person”.
You looked at him, seeing the vulnerability and the weight of his struggles etched on his face. It was clear that his life wasn’t as glamorous as it might seem from the outside. “I don’t think it’s a dealbreaker”, you said softly, surprising even yourself with your honesty. “It’s just… a lot to take in”.
Jensen met your gaze, hope flickering in his eyes. “I get it”, he said quietly. “And I don’t expect you to have all the answers right now. I just wanted you to know the truth”.
You nodded, feeling a strange mix of relief and confusion. “I appreciate that”, you replied, your voice steady.
A silence stretched between you as Jensen watched you, his gaze shifting back and forth from your eyes to your lips, capturing every subtle expression. There was a palpable tension, a mixture of hope and apprehension. Finally, he broke the silence with a question that seemed to come from a place deep within him.
“What is it about you?”, Jensen whispered, his voice rough with emotion. His eyes searched yours intently, seeking an answer, or perhaps understanding. “Why do you hold me so captive?”.
You were taken aback by the raw honesty in his question. It was clear he was grappling with his feelings, trying to make sense of the connection that had sprung up so unexpectedly between you. You took a moment to gather your thoughts, feeling the weight of his gaze.
“I’ve been asking myself the same thing”, you admitted, your voice soft. “There’s just something about you, Jensen. Something that feels… right, despite all the complications”.
Jensen’s brow furrowed slightly, as if he were trying to decipher a complex puzzle. “Do you think”, he started hesitantly, “do you think there’s a chance for us? I mean, can we find a way to make this work?”.
Jensen’s eyes widened slightly as he realized the weight of his words. Panic flickered across his face, and he quickly waved his hand dismissively. “Forget what I just said”, he mumbled, his voice filled with regret. “I’m drunk. I shouldn’t have—”.
But before he could finish his sentence, you found yourself unable to hold back any longer. Placing your mug on the counter with a soft clink, you stepped forward, closing the distance between you. Your hands moved instinctively to cup his face, and you gently pulled him down toward you.
Jensen’s breath hitched, and for a split second, he hesitated. But as your lips met his, all doubts melted away. The kiss was gentle at first, a tentative exploration, but quickly deepened as the emotions you had both been holding back surged to the surface.
His hands found your waist, pulling you closer as he responded with equal fervor.
The world around you dissolved as the kiss deepened, every touch and sensation heightened. Jensen’s lips were warm and insistent against yours, moving with a tenderness that belied the intensity of the emotions between you. You could feel his hesitation give way to a growing confidence as he pulled you closer, his hands firm and possessive on your waist.
Jensen’s tongue brushed gently against your lower lip, seeking entrance. Your lips parted instinctively, allowing him in, and the kiss became more urgent, more demanding.
The taste of him, mingled with the faint hint of the coffee you had both been drinking, was intoxicating. You could feel the heat rising between you, a pulsing, almost electric connection that seemed to burn away any lingering doubts or fears.
One of your hands slid up to the back of his neck, fingers threading through the soft hair there, while the other remained on his cheek, feeling the warmth of his skin under your touch. Jensen’s hands began to roam, moving from your waist to your back, pulling you even closer until there was hardly any space left between your bodies.
Before you could pull away, Jensen moved with a newfound urgency, turning the two of you until your back pressed against the cool surface of the kitchen island. With an effortless strength that made your heart race, he lifted you onto the countertop, bringing you to his eye level. The height difference between you no longer an obstacle, he stepped closer, his hands firmly gripping your hips and pulling you against him until your bodies were flush.
The sudden contact, the sensation of his firm body pressed against yours, sent a thrill through you. You could feel the heat of him through the thin fabric of your clothes, every point of contact sparking with an intense electricity. Jensen’s hands roamed from your hips to your back, holding you close as his kiss deepened, growing more passionate, more consuming.
Your fingers tangled in his hair as your lips and tongues continued their fervent dance.
Your legs instinctively wrapped around Jensen’s hips, pulling him even closer. The sensation of his half-hard length pressing against you through the fabric of your clothes made your breath hitch and your heart race. Every touch, every movement intensified the electric connection between you, leaving you both breathless and yearning for more.
Jensen’s hands continued to explore, his touch sending shivers down your spine. He groaned softly against your lips, the sound vibrating through you and deepening your desire. Your hands moved from his hair to his shoulders, clutching at him as if he were the only thing grounding you in that moment.
Jensen pulled back slightly, his breath ragged as he looked into your eyes. “Do you have any idea what you do to me?”, he murmured, his voice thick with desire.
Your eyes locked onto his, your voice barely a whisper as you replied, “Show me”.
With a growl of approval, Jensen captured your lips again, his kisses more urgent, more demanding. His hands roamed down your back, gripping your hips tightly as he rocked against you, his arousal evident and only fueling your own.
The intensity of the moment built, each touch, each kiss fanning the flames between you. It was as if nothing else existed, just the two of you lost in this whirlwind of passion and need. The kitchen island beneath you seemed to disappear as you surrendered completely to the overwhelming desire that had brought you together.
Jensen’s lips left yours, trailing hot, open-mouthed kisses down your neck, making you gasp and arch against him. The feel of his lips, his breath on your skin, was almost too much to bear, yet you couldn’t get enough. You wanted him, needed him, in a way that defied logic and reason.
“Jensen”, you breathed, your voice trembling with the depth of your need.
“I need you”, Jensen whispered, his voice low and hot against your neck. As he pressed his erection harder against your clothed pussy, a whimper escaped your lips, a sound that seemed to echo through the room. To Jensen, it was the most beautiful sound he had ever heard, and it fueled his desire even more.
His hands gripped your hips more firmly, pulling you impossibly closer as he continued to grind against you, the friction eliciting soft moans from both of you. You could feel the heat radiating from his body, and the intensity of the moment made your head spin.
Your hands roamed over his back, feeling the muscles tense and flex under your touch. You needed him as much as he needed you, and the urgency of your desire was palpable.
Jensen’s lips found yours again, kissing you with a desperate passion that matched your own. His tongue danced with yours, exploring and teasing, leaving you breathless and yearning for more.
Without breaking the kiss, Jensen’s hands slid under your shirt, caressing the soft skin of your back. The sensation sent shivers down your spine, and you arched against him, craving more of his touch.
He lifted you slightly, his hands moving to the waistband of your pants. With a deft movement, he unbuttoned them, his fingers brushing against your skin and making you gasp. The need to feel him closer, to have him inside you, was overwhelming.
Jensen lifted you off the counter and carried you to the couch, laying you down gently. His lips never left yours, the passion and intensity between you growing with every moment. Just as Jensen’s hands began to explore your body more intimately, the sound of a door opening and closing echoed through the house.
Suddenly, Jared’s voice rang out, louder than intended. “Oh, fuck!”, he exclaimed, his eyes wide with surprise. “I’m so sorry!”.
You both froze, the moment shattered by Jared’s unexpected entrance. Jensen quickly pulled away, a mixture of frustration and embarrassment on his face. You could feel your cheeks burning as you hurried to adjust your clothing, trying to regain some semblance of composure.
Jared stood awkwardly in the doorway, his eyes averted. “I, uh, didn’t realize… I mean, I’ll just… yeah, sorry”, he mumbled, backing out of the room hastily.
As the door closed behind Jared, an awkward silence settled between you and Jensen.
The two of you sat there in the aftermath of Jared’s interruption, the air thick with a mix of arousal, embarrassment, and the lingering desire that still pulsed between you. Jensen sat beside you on the couch, his gaze flickering between your eyes and your lips, his chest rising and falling with each heavy breath.
You could feel the heat radiating off his body, matching the flush in your cheeks as you tried to calm your racing heart. The intensity of the interrupted moment still hung in the air, a palpable reminder of how close you had been to something deeper and more intimate.
You looked down, your cheeks still flushed with the heat of the moment. “I’m sorry for kissing you”, you mumbled, feeling a mix of embarrassment and vulnerability.
Jensen chuckled softly, shaking his head. “Don’t be sorry”, he said, his voice filled with warmth and a hint of amusement. “You just did what I was too scared to do”. His gaze dropped to the very obvious bulge in his sweatpants, and he cursed under his breath, a mix of frustration and self-deprecating humor.
You couldn’t help but smile at his reaction, feeling a little of the tension ease away. “Well, then I’m glad I did", you admitted, your voice still soft but filled with sincerity. “But maybe Jared did us a favor. We should probably take things a bit slower”.
Jensen nodded in agreement, his eyes meeting yours once more. “Yeah, you’re right”, he said, his tone serious but gentle. “There’s a lot to figure out, and I don’t want to rush this… Whatever this is”.

BUDDIE FIC RECS ✴ S05E01 - PANIC
Fic recs set during or after episode 1 of season 5.
————————————————————————
bite back by asgardiun Oneshot || General || 1028
“I don’t panic,” Eddie repeats, like a mantra, a record, or broken prayer.
“I don’t panic,” he repeats. A medic knows how to treat panic. Eddie never learned to treat a non-panic attack.
“I don’t panic.” He says it once, he says it twice. He meditates on the phrase. I don’t panic, I don’t panic.
————————————————————————
buried this heart and years went on by by markofalover // @markofalover Oneshot || Teen || 1833
It really would be just his luck. Surviving the sniper just to drop dead in a store four months later of a heart attack. Because, that’s what’s happening, isn’t it?

Eddie and Ana have a conversation after they get back from the hospital.
————————————————————————
for love to be in sight by LittleLivingLake // @jasontoddsreanimatedcorpse Oneshot || General || 6091
Small things like these add up, and keep adding up until Eddie finds himself at some truth he's almost never ready to realise. Truths like how he's not just attracted to Buck, he's head over fucking heels in love.
Eddie's in love with Buck. But it's okay, he's totally not panicking or anything ridiculous like that.
(or: Eddie goes to therapy, breaks up with Ana, and pines over his best friend. Subtlety has left the building.)
————————————————————————
I Don't Panic by JayJay__884 Oneshot || General || 5481
After Eddie tries to ignore the panic attack he had experienced, Buck tries to get Eddie to open up to him about it after being suspicious of it at the hospital.
When Eddie continues ignoring the problem, Buck tries to get Eddie to open up by sharing his own problems from seeing Eddie getting shot. After hearing how vulnerable and hurt Buck was, Eddie eventually breaks down and talks to Buck about his own panic attack.

I've been living at my lowest (it's safe to say)… by ReallySmartLadyMarieCurie Oneshot || Teen || 1171
"But just because it would be easier, doesn’t necessarily mean it would be better. Buck is warm and safe, solid in Eddie’s arms and so willing to take on the world for him if Eddie asks for it. Maybe facing his fears and the fallout of confession wouldn’t be so unbearable if Buck were there to do it with him."
Eddie reflects on his panic attack-inducing fears, and he gets comfort in the form of an incredible Evan Buckley hug.(Or, how I would love for things to play out in 5x02.)
————————————————————————
It Isn't in My Blood by fireladybuckley Oneshot || General || 2331
A 5x01 missing scene - Buck finds the pamphlet on anxiety and panic attacks given to him by the cardiologist at the hospital and encourages Eddie to tell him what happened. Eddie breaks down and admits that maybe not everything is okay.
————————————————————————
It's Always Been You by SomeLittleInfamy Oneshot || General || 841
He could claim any one of those things as the source of his stress and people would believe him, but they wouldn’t be the truth.
The truth is that he started feeling that tightness in his chest when the rest of the team started harping on how serious this Christening is. That it only got worse the more he overthought why he needed it to not be serious so desperately, and came to a head the moment the guy at the shop assumed Ana was his wife.
Admitting the truth of his panic attack means admitting that he doesn’t see himself with Ana forever.
————————————————————————
it's okay (not to be okay) by half_bakedboy // @half-bakedboy Oneshot || General || 2248
“Great idea. Eddie really shouldn’t be exerting himself right now.”
“Seriously, Buck?” Eddie asked, standing up with a huff.
Buck didn’t have time to be frustrated, because Bobby was instructing him to assist with other patients and he had a job to do.
(Two jobs, if he counted protecting Eddie from himself.)
————————————————————————
Just like you, I can't leave by 10ip // @tenisperfection Oneshot || Mature || 3275
Eddie doesn’t think he’s ever been seen, been loved like this.
He’s certain he’s never loved like this either.
You’re friends, the feeble, dying voice in his head says, and Eddie’s finally in a place where he can no longer believe it.
————————————————————————
kiss me i'm dying by zeebandit // @dijkstraspath Oneshot || Teen || 1900
Eddie feels like he's having a heart attack for the second time this week and Buck just wants to help.
————————————————————————
measuring heartbeats (you held me together) by lecornergirl // @clusterbuck Oneshot || General || 1719
Here’s the thing about Eddie: he doesn’t panic. He puts his head down and he steels his spine and he does what needs to be done, and he does not panic.
This is the way the army trained him. This is what his parents ingrained in him. This is the foundation upon which he builds his life and his career. Eddie is steadfast and steady and he is cool in a crisis, and he does not panic.
OR: three times Eddie definitely doesn't panic, and one time he does
————————————————————————
my darkest nights by fruitydiaz // @fruitydiaz Oneshot || Teen || 2877
Eddie makes it back home after the shift from hell and is grateful that he escaped Buck's persistent questioning - until a nightmare wakes him up and Buck shows up at his front door anyways. Because of course he does. -- “It wasn’t anything serious, Buck,” He tries again, but the way Buck stares back at him makes him feel like his body’s made of glass.
“Because if it was you would tell me?”
Eddie swallows. He holds Buck’s gaze and nods, a jerky aborted movement, before averting his eyes.
“Good, because four months ago you got shot.” Eddie ignores the way his entire body tenses as Buck continues. “And then you sat in the hospital room and told me that if anything ever happened to you I would be Christopher’s legal guardian.”
He doesn’t say anything and when he looks up again Buck has taken a step closer. He hovers over Eddie slightly, eyes soft and imploring.
“If something happens to you, I need to know. I want to know.”
————————————————————————
Spinning by sugarandspace // @sugarandspace Oneshot || General || 1974
“Christopher saw, Buck,” he hates how his voice cracks when he says it and how his face flushes warm with shame. Buck looks at him and Eddie continues, “he saw me collapse, he sat with me in the ambulance, he was there the whole time. I just - When will I stop letting him down? I don't mean to hurt him but it keeps happening and I-” “No,” Buck cuts in sharply and his hand comes to rest on Eddie’s shoulder. Warm and heavy and grounding. Like an anchor keeping him tethered to the ground when the world around him was starting to spin too fast.
When he was starting to lose control again.

Eddie has another panic attack. This time, instead of calling 9-1-1, Christopher calls for another kind of help.

this could be repression. or just moving forwards by secretlyhuman Oneshot || Teen || 4585
What he realises, as he lies still shaking in his hospital bed, is that there are people in the world who would care if he died. Chris, of course. He would leave his son an orphan but that has always been one of the thoughts that has kept him up at night. This is different. There are people who know what his hair looks like when he first wakes up. How he likes to eat the first pancake that always turns out a little strange. How he sings dad rock to himself while doing the dishes and how if he can he’ll use Chris’s toothpaste in the morning because he likes the fake strawberry taste.
If he dies, he realises, all those things die with him. He will leave an empty space at the station table and a house full of books that he hasn’t quite got around to reading and so many more people that love him than he ever thought he could have. He didn’t think love like this was possible for men like him. Men like him were meant to be stoic and distant and angry. It was easier that way. Men like him weren’t supposed to have family that would follow them to the hospital, especially not for the ridiculous mundanity of a panic attack.
Or Eddie thinks a lot about family and mortality and what he actually wants

Post 5x01 "Panic", in which Eddie struggles with his panic attacks, Buck helps him through it, and they find their way to each other.

where do we go from here? by potterbite Oneshot || General || 645
A short 5x01 coda, because I still have feelings about it all and a thousand scenarios playing in my head of how it’ll all play out. Here, Eddie has a moment of realization watching Buck with Chris.
————————————————————————
Would you come home? by on_mars // @on-maars Oneshot || General || 5808
“Buck told me about the pamphlet he found in your car.” Bobby eventually says.
“Dios, Buck.” Eddie whispers to himself and pinches the bridge of his nose, letting out a shaky breath. “I didn’t get a- I don’t panic.” He starts but knows better than to keep pretending when Bobby sends him that look. That’s not gonna work with me, Diaz, and you know it.
The message is clear. He’s not getting out of this room until he talked about what happened back there. In this suit store. Eddie’s tempted to downplay it again, say it was nothing, say he’s handling it just fine, that he’s way past it. But the truth is he’s not.
Not by a long shot.
[OR Eddie and Bobby have a talk about his anxiety and his (undeniable) feelings for Buck]

An Obedient Wife : zhongli
˚ ༘ .˚⏳TW୭ ˚. ᵎᵎ forced marriage, emotional & physical abuse, ooc!zhongli, pet names, trauma, kidnapping, mentions of “guizhong”. (lmk if i missed some and if there’s any grammar mistakes!!)
Zhongli had always been a good husband, at least that was what others thought.
His very handsome face can attract anyone who sees it, his muscular, dashing and ideal body always manages to seduce women.
Whoever managed to get him was the luckiest person, that's what they thought. And you really want to deny it outright.
“Good morning, my love.” A deep voice that echoed in the room greeted you and made you startled. You, who were cooking for yourself and your husband, Zhongli, immediately stopped to give him a hug as a morning greeting. “Good morning, babe.”
Zhongli happily returned your hug. Your hand is now touching his. Cold, that's what you feel. The coldness made you a little surprised and made you have to adjust to the touch of his hand.
His hands were cold, as usual.
He was the one who ended the cold hug. His amber eyes which always watched your movements were now looking at you sharply even though you’re his wife now.
“Wife, i'm going somewhere after this.”
“Huh? What about the breakfast i made?”
He played with strands of your hair, then kissed it. His gaze remained on the strands of your hair that he was holding.
“You have to eat it alone as usual, you don't mind it—” he's looking at you now, and it feels like a threat. “—Right?”
“Yeah… yeah of course.” You looked down to hide your pathetic face. “… as usual.” your murmurs as small as possible.
He lowered his head to whisper in your ear. "Don't try to escape, or i’ll punish you.”
You flinched slightly at that, then tried to adjust your expression. "Of course. Why would I run away?"
Hearing the answer he wanted, he then let go of a strand of your hair and smiled. “Alright.”
You looked at zhongli who turned around and walked away from you. You can only stare at him, without being able to say anything.
“…..” silence fell for a few moments, that’s before you decided to let out your voice, preventing him from going any further. “Actually, zhongli…”
His steps stopped. Without looking at you, he replied, “yes?”
Suddenly your heart beats faster than before .“Um…” you play with your fingers. “Can i… can i see my parents?”
There was no response from him yet making you scared. “Just this once, please.”
“Neverm—“ Before you could process what was happening, zhongli's hand, which had always been worshiped by women, now gripped your hair. Making you unable to do anything other than groan in pain and ask him to let go. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry—" The apology that you have said many times like a mantra has no effect whatsoever like a mantra.
“Don't you have an obligation to do here? Live with me, serve me, and give birth to my children. Is it just a blur in your stupid brain?” His voice rose, a sign he was angry.
“Im sorry, my love. Im so—“ Before you could finish your words, he dragged you by your hair and took you to a room. The room that zhongli called "your room".
“W- Wait, what are you doing, zhongli?! WAIT— no, no, NO!! DON’T, DON’T DO THIS AGAIN, PLEASE. DON’T GO!”
An expression you couldn't read—either because there was no lighting or it’s because you’re too low to be able to see it—was the last thing you saw of him before he locked you in that room.
You banged on the door, hoping he would have a little mercy to open the door. “PLEASE, OPEN IT!” Even your cries weren't enough to make him have compassion. Is it necessary to crawl or bark like a dog? Or kiss his feet to get him to move?
“I– i don't want to do all this. That stupid wedding you've been planning ever since we met. I hate this. I hate you.”
“What's wrong with you? Guizhong always obeys me. Of course, you should be like that too.” Guizhong, again name of the woman that always slipped out of your mouth. ‘Is it always her who comes to your mind when you see me?’
“I’m not guizhong! Stop all of this and wake up! You have to accept the reality!”
“Did you kidnap me at that time in the hope that I would behave like that guizhong, the person you love?” Silence, no answer from him.
“Please… open this door…” your voice that was too weak to scream was now pleading.
The sound of his retreating footsteps indicated that he had left you locked in your room.
In the end you have to accept the fact that as long as it’s thunderstorm tonight, you will always be locked in your dark room. And with windows without curtains that will always show lightning strikes. And that's what guizhong always do, be obedient.

Shiva meaning “The Auspicious One” is one of the three major deities of Hinduism. He is worshiped as the Supreme God within Shaivism, one of the three most influential denominations in contemporary Hinduism and is also called “the Creator, the Preserver, the Transformer and the Destroyer”.
At the highest level, Shiva is regarded as formless, limitless, transcendent, and unchanging.
Shiva has many benevolent and fearsome depictions.
In benevolent aspects, he is depicted as an omniscient Yogi who lives an ascetic life on Mount Kailash, as well as a householder with wife Parvati and his two children, Ganesha and Kartikeya.
In his fierce aspects, he is often depicted slaying demons.
Shiva is also regarded as the patron god of yoga, meditation, and arts. Shiva is known by several names – Mahadeva, Pashupati, Bhairava, Vishwanath, Bhole Nath, Shambhu and Shankar. Shiva is the cosmic dancer and also known as Nataraja, the Lord of Dancers. Hindus recognize Lord Shiva by putting His shrine in the temple separate from those of other deities in the form of Shivling.
Shiva Mantra essentially helps in eliminating enemies from the path and hence it is also called the Raktha Kavach Mantra. Chanting of Shiva mantra on Chaturdashi is considered very effective and auspicious. Regular chanting of Shiva mantra attracts success and prosperity in all walks of life.
Rosary to be used : Rudraksha Mala Flowers to be used : Swet pushp , Kala Til Total Number of Recitaion : 1,25,000 Best Time : Subh nakchtra , Subh tithi , Chandramavali , Shiv vash
Chanting of Shiva Mantras is a centuries old technique for attaining inner peace and bliss. The Mantras address to Tryambaka, “the three-eyed one”, an epithet of Rudra who was later identified with Shiva. They are said to create divine vibrations which help connecting one to pure consciousness and also remove the fear of death and other negative thoughts from the heart.

Can I hear your thoughts on Slayer :3c ? (For the ask game)
SLAYER. SLAYER IS EVERYTHING TO ME
First impression: slayer is the reason im into guilty gear. this isnt hyperbole or a joke at all. me and a couple of my friends years ago were messing around in +R on the switch, before i had a laptop that could really run games. im looking through the roster and i see slayer, and i ask "who's this old man??" and they go "thats slayer. hes a vampire. hes kinda hard to learn though i wouldnt go for him for your first character" (i had never played a fighting game before). i did not listen to them. i heard vampire. i saw old man. i jumped on that shit. i bought xrd for him. because he wasnt in strive at the time. concisely: my first impression was "fuck he's hot"
Impression now: "fuck he's hot." i love him so much. i mean ok. jokes about him being hot aside. the immortal vampire who observes the workings of humanity like the world is a theater performance is fucking awesome. he vibes. he's so... eccentric. in such a fun way. i love the haiku thing the shitty randomly generated haikus in his IK and strive winscreen. that win line he has against venom in i think +R that goes something like, "if the prince never showed up for snow white, would you be satisfied with just that?" is absolutely insane. i could go on for a hundred years and when he came to strive i was so fucking happy. i love him. truly Also, "Enjoy the Ride with Ups & Downs" is the most healing phrase to come out of media to me dude. Its a mantra. i say that to myself when things look bad and i feel Calm. Favorite moment: Two of them rly. One of them is the fight scene with Bedman in Xrd (keeping vague since ik you havent played xrd yet and i dont wanna spoil it but everyone who has knows exactly what im talking about) Other one is this from Night of Knives:
Sir can you d. can you do that to. to me. put a knife to my neck and do. that. and say that to me. pl-please i-i'm (gets pilebunker'd)
Idea for a story: I actually was thinking about writing something for him and Sharon. I'm... not sure what specifically but a date between them would be nice and very cute
Unpopular opinion: young slayer isnt attractive. sorry. the appeal is that hes an old man. tho im not sure how unpopular that is it might not be. shrug
Favorite relationship: With his Lovely Wife. I want more material of Sharon tbh she seems so interesting but all we have are scraps :( But i love what they do have going on. I love that shes immortal and gives him her blood. I love that he simply cannot disobey her no matter what. She has that man on a leash and you know it
Favorite headcanon: TRANS SLAYER FOR THE WIN

Alexei Navalny, who has died suddenly aged 47 while in prison, was Russia’s best-known campaigner against high-level corruption. For many years he was the leading critic and opponent of President Vladimir Putin and his political party, United Russia.
Repeated arrests, jail sentences and physical assaults did not deter Navalny from digging up financial scandals, which he published on his blogs and X feeds as well as YouTube. In a 2011 radio interview, he described United Russia as a “party of crooks and thieves”, which became a powerful and popular mantra on social media and at political protests.
Repression did not stop him attracting enthusiastic crowds in support of opposition politicians in local elections in cities across Russia. Occasionally he ran for office himself, most notably in 2013 for the mayoralty of Moscow, when the official result gave him 27% of the vote – which he said was rigged so as to deny him victory.
In 2016, Navalny launched a campaign for the 2018 presidential election but was barred by Russia’s central election commission due to a prior criminal conviction. In 2017 he was attacked with a spray, leaving him partially blind in one eye. In 2019 Navalny fell ill in prison, from what he claimed was poison. His most dramatic brush with death came in 2020 at the end of a political campaign trip through Siberia, when he was taken seriously ill on a flight from Tomsk to Moscow. His condition was so grave that the pilot made an emergency landing in Omsk, where he was rushed to hospital. Navalny’s wife and supporters asked for him to be taken to Germany, where they felt he would be better treated.
The Russian authorities agreed and Navalny was flown to the Charité hospital in Berlin, where toxicology tests showed traces of the nerve agent novichok in Navalny’s body. Russian officials complained that the test results were not made public nor disclosed to them. Navalny recovered and was released from hospital after a month.
He decided to convalesce for several weeks in Germany. Russian court authorities announced that if he returned late to Moscow he would be jailed for breaking the terms of a probation order. The threat was seen as a device to deter Navalny from returning to Russia in the hope, as the authorities saw it, that in exile his influence would rapidly decline.
Showing great courage, but defying the advice of his family and friends, he flew back to Moscow in January 2021, accompanied by his wife and dozens of journalists, and was arrested on landing. His Anti-Corruption Foundation promptly published on YouTube an investigation with pictures of a luxury multimillion-dollar mansion on the Black Sea, which they dubbed Putin’s palace.
Navalny’s stock had never been higher at home or abroad, and when a court gave him a two-and-a-half year sentence, western political leaders, including the US president, Joe Biden, protested openly and imposed sanctions. But Putin was determined to destroy him politically.
In 2022, Navalny was sentenced to an extra nine years after being found guilty of embezzlement and contempt of court. In 2023, he was given a further 19 years in prison on extremism charges.
Navalny was born in Butyn and grew up mainly in Obninsk, a small town south-west of Moscow. His mother, Lyudmila, worked as a lab technician in micro-electronics and then moved to a timber-processing factory. His father, Anatoly, a Ukrainian, was in the military. In addition to Russian, Alexei learned Ukrainian through spending summers with his grandmother near Kyiv. He gained a law degree (1998) at the Peoples’ Friendship University in Moscow.
In 2000 he joined the United Democratic party, known as Yabloko. Under its leader, Grigory Yavlinsky, the party stood for liberal and social democratic values. Navalny gained an economics degree at the Financial University (2001), and from 2004 to 2007 served as chief of staff of the Moscow branch of Yabloko. A charismatic speaker, he was attracted by the concept of television debates, and in 2005 founded a social movement for young people, with a name taken from the Russian word for yes, DA! – Democratic Alternative, which was active in the media.
Navalny started to move gradually to the right, and in 2007 he was expelled from Yabloko after clashing with Yavlinsky over Navalny’s increasingly nationalist and anti-immigrant views.
He then co-founded a movement known as Narod (The People), which aimed to defend the rights of ethnic Russians and restrict immigration from Central Asia and the Caucasus. A year later he joined two other Russian nationalist groupings, Movement Against Illegal Immigration (MAII) and Great Russia, in forming a new coalition called the Russian National Movement.
It made little impact and Navalny turned his attention to journalistic muckraking. His main outlet was a blog, LiveJournal. In 2010 he published leaked documents about the alleged theft by directors of millions of roubles from the pipeline company Transneft. The following year he exposed a scandalous property deal between the Russian and Hungarian governments. He decided to establish the Anti-Corruption Foundation, which continued until his death.
He also went back into electoral politics, leading street protests over unfair practices by United Russia. Navalny urged people to vote any way they liked in the 2011 parliamentary elections, including for the Communist party, so long as they voted against United Russia. He was tempted to run against Putin in the 2012 contest for the presidency, but said the ballot would be rigged. After the poll, he led several anti-Putin rallies in Moscow and was briefly arrested.
The following year Moscow was to elect its mayor. Navalny registered as one of six candidates. The next day he was sentenced to five years on embezzlement and fraud charges. Initially he called for an election boycott, but when he was released on appeal he changed his mind. Some analysts speculated that Putin wanted him to run to make the electoral contest look genuinely open. Navalny lost to the incumbent mayor and Kremlin ally Sergei Sobyanin, but claimed to have won. In 2016 he announced he would stand against Putin in the 2018 presidential contest. More arrests and repression followed.
Navalny’s nationalism put him in agreement with Putin on one major issue: Crimea. The territory had been ceded to Ukraine in 1954, but in 2014 Putin used force to reincorporate it into Russia. Navalny said he would not return it to Ukraine if he had the power to do so. Like Putin, he argued that Ukraine was an artificial construct. “I don’t see any kind of difference at all between Russians and Ukrainians,” he said, while admitting his views might provoke “horrible indignation” in Ukraine.
However, his agreement with some of Putin’s views on Ukraine did not bring him to support Putin’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. That March, Navalny released a statement from jail. Through his spokesman he urged Russians “to overcome their fear” and take to the streets and demand a “stop to the war” against Ukraine. He called Putin an “obviously insane tsar”. “If in order to stop the war we have to fill prisons and paddy wagons with ourselves, we will fill prisons and paddy wagons with ourselves.”
“Everything has a price, and now, in the spring of 2022, we must pay this price. There’s no one to do it for us. Let’s not ‘be against the war’. Let’s fight against the war.” At the end of 2023 he was transferred to the remote penal colony at Kharp, north of the Arctic circle.
In 2000 he married Yulia Abrosimova, and she and their daughter, Daria, and son, Zakhar, survive him.

SP Fallen God Orochi Talisman Pass Skin Story "Sakura Night"
I. Donarium Cherry
Recently, a man had been loitering under the famous cherry tree in the mountain. Always dressed elegantly in expensive clothes, he would gaze at the cherry blossoms in a relaxed manner, with a hint of unreadable expression. Most of the time, he just stoo there staring, allowing the fallen petals to sprinkle on his shoulders, as if he would never be tired of this view.
His somewhat strange behavior could be justified, however, because this cherry tree always had the most beautiful bloom. People believe that it’s blessed by gods with love. It’s only natural for someone who truly loves cherry blossoms to be obsessed with it. Over time, the man had become a familiar sight for those who came to see the cherry blossoms. No one ever talked to him, however, because he didn’t seem very approachable.
Until one day, he briefly looked away from the flowers when he was distracted by two men talking under the tree. They were an old monk and a warrior. Unlike the usual benevolent monks, this monk looked rather sinister; unlinke the usual majestic warriors, this warrior looked disheveled and spiritless.
“You look very upset, Master,” the old monk said, “It’s a pity, for the blossoms are so attractive. Why bother coming every day if you are not in the mood to enjoy this view?”
“I’m sorry that you’re bothered by my presence,” the warrior said, “But I’m here for a reason. Please forgive me.”
The monk leaned in a little, showing his interest to know more. That would have been rude, prying into the affairs of others, especially considering that they were almost strangers. However, maybe because the warrior was feeling lonely or maybe because the listener is a monk, the warrior started to share his story.
“My wife and I were very close, but she passed away in the past winter. I loved her so much, and I still miss her every day. I just can’t let go. We used to come here for the cherry blossoms every spring, but now, she’s no longer with me, so here I am, all alone… These blossoms remind me of her, and it hurts… Alas, I would do anything to get her back.”
The warrior looked even more defeated after that. The monk, however, didn’t show any compassion at all as most would. He merely stayed silent for a while before smiling mysteriously.
“You are in luck,” the monk said, “Do as I say and come back here when the waxing crescent rises the next time. I can bring your wife back to you.”
II. Bellflower Cherry
It was a very lovely night. The cherry blossoms fell gently in the night breeze. Under the clear light of the crescent moon, they looked like a blanket of white snow in winter. This scene should have mesmerized any cherry blossom enthusiast. Unfortunately, at this hour of the silent night, not all were in the mood to enjoy it.
The warrior came as promised, not only still disheveled, but also anxious and perplexed. The tree he and his late wife used to admire the most could not interest him anymore.
“I did exactly what you asked me to,” the warrior said, “Please bring my wife back for me as promised.”
The monk nodded slightly, “Of course. You may not know who I am, but anyone who knows me knows that I always keep my promise.”
The monk turned his gaze to the box the warrior was holding with a tense grip, as if it contained something with unbearable weight.
The warrior asked, “Many say that the dead cannot be revived. Many have tried, but to no avail. Yet your task for me was... easy. Why?
The monk turned the prayer beads in his hand and softly chanted a Buddhist mantra.
“Easy?” He seemed to be asking himself, “Well, you are a warrior, so taking another person’s life is indeed easy for you, I guess. But the man you killed will never come back to life. How dare you assume that his life is worth less than your wife’s?”
The warrior didn’t know what to say. With a light wave of the monk’s shriveled hand, the seemingly heavy box was opened. The night wind suddenly rose, carrying with it the shimmering dust in the box, which then dispersed and disappeared with the dancing cherry blossom petals. Strangely enough, the cherry tree appeared even more beautiful and enchanting.
“This is interesting… Very interesting… To get the love of your life back, you didn’t hesitate to commit a sin as heavy as hers,” said the monk.
The warrior looked as if he was about to scream in shock. The monk looked straight into the warrior’s eyes, quietly folding his hands, as his pupils slowly turned into vertical slits, like those of a snake.
“Please be patient, Master,” the monk said, “Your weight has been placed on one side of the scales.”
“Though the best of spring has already passed, the late cherry blossoms are just as beautiful. Let’s enjoy them together, shall we?”
III. Weeping Cherry
The journey back from the Underworld was a long one. Day after day, the warrior waited for his late wife to return, and he finally saw her in the night when the last batch of late cherry blossoms bloomed.
The moonlight crept in through the window, casting the shadow of a woman outside onto the paper screen, outlining her beautiful silhouette. In her final days, illness had reduced her to a frail skeleton, but now she appeared as healthy and curvaceous as when they first met.
The woman knocked on the door gently, which hadn’t been heard in this household for so long. The warrior, overjoyed, jumped to his feet and rushed to the door, eager to see her, the one he had been pining for. However, as he reached the door, he stopped in his steps and felt a sudden and subtle uneasiness rising in his heart.
Since she’d been to the Underworld, was she still a human? Or had she become a ghost? If she were a ghost now, how would they be getting along in the future? He wanted to see her, but was afraid to do so at the same time.
The woman sensed his hesitation and decided to speak up.
“My dear husband, why the hesitation?”
Her voice almost brought tears to the warrior’s eyes. It was the very same voice of his wife that he was so familiar with.
“We promised we would to go see the cherry blossoms together every spring. And here I am. Please let me back in.”
But… something just didn’t feel right, thought the warrior. Yet he couldn’t put a finger on it. He cracked the door open just slightly to peek outside, wanting to confirm it was indeed his wife. Just then, he realized why it felt so strange. It used to be him on the other side, gently knocking and calling out. His sleepy wife would come to open the door for him and then extinguish the lantern she had lit for him under the eaves. The warrior was suddenly caught off guard when he met the gaze of an eye staring back at him from the other side.
“You didn’t leave the lantern on for me…” she said.
Horrified by that grim tone, the warrior smashed the door close. Realizing that he was not letting her in, the woman’s warm tone became harsh.
“You wanted me back so much that you did not hesitate to kill. Yet you didn’t leave the lantern on for me, and now you dare not even see me, shutting me out. Clearly, you’ve let go of your love for me. Then why did you even bring me back from the Underworld? Why are you doing this to me? This is all your fault!”
On the other side of the thin door panel, the curvaceous beauty had vanished, replaced with a decaying skeleton that wailed in sorrow, “Your heavy, relentless obsession has trapped me here, keeping me from attaining peace…”
The voice, once familiar, now sounded less like his wife and more like the sinister hiss of a venomous snake.
IV. April Cherry
The late cherry blossoms remained beautiful under the clear moonlight. The cherry blossom season had reached its end, yet the most beautiful and magnificent tree never seemed to be withering. It’s believed to be blessed by gods with love.
The man admiring the cherry blossoms under the tree gently shook his head and said, “The beauty of cherry blossoms lies in their cycle of blooming and falling. They flourish only for a fleeting moment, then fall delicately after reaching their peak. Whether it’s love or life, it’s more interesting to let things follow their natural course.”
Nearby, the warrior, face pale, fell on his knees in front of the old monk and pleaded, “I want to take back my wish. Please allow my wife to return to the Underworld and let her have peace.”
“I told you, Master,” said the monk, “The person you killed would never have the chance to come back to life either. How can a wish be taken back so easily? Besides, you promised to give everything, and what I asked of you was nothing to you. It’s just too late to back out now.”
The warrior tried to straighten up but felt an almost unbearable weight pressing down on his spine. He knew that it was his wife, who he had brought back to this world. For the rest of his life, he would have to carry her, along with the sin he had committed for her.
The mysterious man, actually the Serpent Lord, admiring the cherry blossoms now revealed his true form, looking down upon the suffering soul. He could see that the old monk was in fact a naga that he knew all too well, and the weight weighing down the warrior was merely an illusion created by the naga.
He hissed something, and the naga followed suit. The warrior then heard his wife on his back speak again. He looked horrified and hopeless, his eyes resembling lifeless black voids. In endless despair, he pulled out the sword on his waist. A sudden gust of wind swept through, stripping the cherry blossom tree of its blooms in an instant. The loud rustling covered the dull sound of the blade piercing flesh. The naga slithered back to the side of the Serpent Lord. Now that the warrior had atoned for his sins, the ‘wife’ he had called back from the Underworld could finally find peace and leave.
“Enjoyed yourself? That was quite a show.”
The warrior’s body transformed into a pile of cherry blossoms and collapsed like a snow mound in the wind. The naga picked up a petal in his mouth and presented it to his master. The Serpent Lord examined it for a while and then gently blew it away.
“Humans sin for love, and die because they lived. Like the cherry blossoms, they bloom and fall within a short time, leaving no traces. This world, though far from perfect, finds charm in its flaws.”
Perhaps, the Serpent Lord mused whimsically, he could make this world even more interesting.

RICHARD LARDNER AND BILL BARROW at AP:
OPELIKA, Ala. (AP) — On the second floor of a single-family home in a sprawling suburban development, a three-member production crew sat behind banks of computer monitors and guided the conservative Right Side Broadcasting Network’s coverage of a recent Donald Trump rally. RSBN’s show director, whispering into a microphoned headset, instructed the camera operators and on-air correspondent how to shoot the scenes as Trump basked in the crowd’s adoration. Otherwise, the room was quiet. The screens, all muted, were playing live footage of Trump pointing, waving and gesticulating. There was no need for sound — the director and producers have covered so many Trump rallies they seem to instinctively know what he’s going to say.
“If you’ve heard Trump’s speeches as often as we have, he does not need to be blaring,” said Joe Seales, RSBN’s founder and CEO. In less than a decade, RSBN has gone from an upstart internet broadcaster to a major player in Trump’s MAGA universe, amassing more than 2 million subscribers on its YouTube channel and on Rumble, an alternative video-sharing platform. As Trump’s loyal herald, carrying his message like a marathoner, live and unfiltered, RSBN has allowed the former Republican president to bypass traditional media and inject his vision for America directly into the veins of his diehard supporters. The positive coverage has made RSBN a Trump favorite and a destination for his MAGA movement, a reference to the ex-president’s “Make America Great Again” slogan. Out of all the conservative news outlets Trump had to choose from, he picked RSBN to host a special in March from his Mar-a-Lago estate on the day before Super Tuesday, when presidential primary voters in 16 states cast their ballots.
[...]
A BRAINSTORM
Seales was a stay-at-home father in 2015 and was growing annoyed with the coverage of Trump’s first run for the White House. The big news networks, he said, refused Trump’s pleas to show the size of the crowds he was pulling in. He became convinced there was a sizable audience hungry for a steady diet of Trump’s rallies, town halls and other events. Seales and his wife, a former Navy physician’s assistant who co-owns RSBN, started small, with a single camera at a Trump rally in Phoenix. Over the years, they turned a shoestring operation into one with 10 full-time employees and a house full of sophisticated computer and video gear. Like other broadcasters, most of RSBN’s revenue comes from selling ads. The commercials that run on Seales’ channel skew to attract consumers of a conservative political inclination.
[...]
A PROPAGANDA VIBE
RSBN’s broadcasts have the vibe of a state-run propaganda program. But Seales denied the channel acts as a surrogate for Trump or his presidential campaign. “We aren’t affiliated with them,” Seales said. “We just cover Donald Trump. Our goal has never been to be an extension or a cheerleader for the Trump campaign. I just saw a void that I thought needed to be filled in coverage for him as a candidate. And we try to cover him as fairly and accurately as possible.” RSBN is also not going to challenge the former president. The channel’s mantra is to let Trump be Trump. If he mangles the facts or ignores them altogether, which he does often, Seales said there are other news sites and sources where viewers can fact-check him. “I don’t really feel it’s our place to call anyone out,” he said. “I like to let people make that decision on their own and to research the facts.”
[...]
HOME AWAY FROM HOME
The Opelika house hasn’t always been RSBN’s headquarters. Seales moved there for safety and privacy. He asked the AP not to disclose its precise location or to record video of the home. [...]
Seales has embraced the new location. In recent months, he has turned a bedroom into a studio to record podcasts. A news anchor’s desk, teleprompter and professional lighting have been installed in another bedroom. But Seales said he isn’t sure how much longer he’ll run RSBN. He’s considering selling the company. Politics, he said, has become too vitriolic and has “taken enough of our life and our time.” RSBN also faces an uncertain future. If Trump’s comeback bid for the White House fails, the channel’s main attraction will no longer be running for office. Should he win, RSBN’s status as the hub for wall-to-wall Trump coverage will be diminished as a global press corps tracks his every move. “We have based our entire business model,” he said, “around one man doing one thing.”
AP takes a look on how a far-right pro-Trump propaganda network called Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN) rose to be a major player in the MAGA-verse. It started in 2015, when Joe Seales was frustrated with the major media outlets' coverage of Donald Trump and his indoctrination rallies being not deferential enough to Trump and his supporters. RSBN

“Risky, but you’re worth it…” Unsure if you are complimenting me or bolstering your own confidence as you remove my summer dress. Each button you work out of its slot comes with that murmured affirmation. You have been working your way from my collarbone to the hem to free me from it and reveal the vision before you. Distracted with nuzzling my cleavage, you slipped my bra straps off my shoulders to offer kisses there too. Suddenly you pulled back to gather yourself when the experience became overwhelming, then returned to focus on the buttons and your mantra. Earlier, when we met at the outdoor concert in the park, you were obviously smitten and danced with me on the green lawn with all the other couples. Swept up in the music, you held me in your embrace, twirling me and laughing at your good fortune at finding such a nimble dance partner. We walked together afterwards and slipped into a bar for a few drinks to break down any resistance to following through on a logical inevitable to our mutual attraction. Easily convinced there was a nite cap with my name on it at your place, you escorted me there. We entered through a side door, into an obvious man cave of your design. The lights were dim but it was clearly a converted garage. Dropping the needle on a turntable for soft music helped enhance the ambience, while you mixed drinks from a drink cart. There was a kiss that promised more as we toasted our shared interests in music, dancing, good liquor, and the unspoken plans for the rest of the night. A second shared drink we pass between us brings us closer and soon I am in your arms again being nuzzled out of my short cotton dress. Standing in the dim light you marvel at my figure and the dark lingerie that taunts you with its perfection. “My wife is out of town." “Excuse me?” I’m crestfallen after he blurts out the non sequiter that breaks the spell. Slumping into an old upholstered chair I watch him apologizing for the omission of this pertinent fact. There are excuses about being so taken with my beauty and how swept up in the music he became, how good I felt in his arms, a long list of my other fine attributes, not to mention how my enchanting mind worked and what a schmuck he was for thinking he could get away with all of this. I’m disappointed on so many levels, not to mention sexually, however I don’t make any moves to put on my dress. The dynamic has shifted and I am owed more than this subterfuge. “Ever cheated?” “Never, thought about it plenty though.” “Do you satisfy her sexually emotionally?” “As best I can… she’s traveling more these days…” I sigh with exasperation, but I sense my body hasn’t shifted from the original agenda. “You need a punishment for betraying her… and your vows, you bastard. Otherwise how will you learn?” I’m just now selfishly formulating how I can make him suffer for eternity and leave with some satisfaction for myself. “What are you saying… I don’t understand.” “I’m owed an orgasm… can you make me cum?” “Yes, ma’am, my wife and I have a ‘her first’ policy, no matter how long it takes…” “Fingers and tongue only, those are the rules, nothing more physically involving or gratifying for you. I get to cum, you don’t. Got it?” “Yes ma’am!” This singular event is twisted… and I’m a genius with questionable morals when I’m drunk. He stands to remove my bra and devour my breasts with gratitude and as he continues I respond by guiding his hand between my legs. He kneads me through the fabric of my thong, then pulls it aside to meet my swollen flesh with his fingers. I gasp and shimmy the thong to my ankles as he teases the entry with tentative dips inside. All the while, he nibbles at my nipples for a soupćon of pain that deepens my gasps into sighs. Stepping out of the thong at my feet, I balance on one heel to wrap the other leg around his waist to open myself wider. Supplying a third finger, thrusting to fill me and soon, I beg for his tongue. He walks me to a daybed to set me down, raising my wrapped leg over his shoulder as he kneels. Looking into my eyes he brings drenched fingers to his mouth to nurse them clean while I watch his raptures from the taste. While not part of the official rules, I consider the act an added incentive… and incredibly hot. He flutters his tongue along the swelling folds with a virtuosity that thrills, before he slithers inside the fresh oozing. My moans are profound and knowing this will give me what I asked for. Nevertheless, I restrain myself to indulge my needs and prolong his finesse… and punishment. I feel myself cresting, all heaving breaths and moans. “Wife’s name?” “Maggie” “Think of her, you bastard.” I am cumming with her name on my lips, “For you, Maggie!” just drunk enough to make the logic seem reasonable in some sort of behavior modification way. He drinks deep from the prolonged sexual seizure of my climax, offering a suction that extends it as he rides out the spasms, embedded there. Afterwards, he breaks the rules to share my taste with a deep kiss that catalyzes a cascade of multiples. I suck on his long tongue as if it resembles the phallic equivalent that I deemed off limits… before I learned about his Maggie. I feel I have cursed him with the incident and hope he is chastised… or traumatized enough to consider other unsuspecting women off limits. Epilogue: 6 months later, I run into him at a bar. He thanks me profusely for setting him straight. It was the slap in the face he needed to change the course of their marriage. One hitch, whenever he goes down on Maggie, he thinks of that night, my body, my taste, my unholy cumming. “She loves the new me and cannot get enough.” He subtly sniffs his fingers, licks his lips and winks goodbye.

REVIEW: Wes Anderson's Charming and Visually Stunning ASTEROID CITY
Wes Anderson's latest film Asteroid City tells a story in multiple levels, exploring the complexities of life through three different realities of its characters.
Walking Off Stage
Asteroid City centers on a play--exploring the creatives behind and in front of the camera--which is based on 'actual events'. The film highlights the depths of performance by showing actors on stage (as well as walking off stage, becoming themselves in these brief backstage moments) and the characters they portray in depictions of the real events.
There is an interesting focus on the complexity of performing as we see actors leave their performances to literally walk off stage in order to learn more about their characters and their motivations. Asteroid City flows, allowing the audience to follow these movements with ease and in turn learn more about the characters.
The framing of Asteroid City brings to mind Michael Frayn's farcical play Noises Off, which depicts the first act of a play within a play through three performances, showing how the backstage dynamics between actors impact what happens within the play they are performing.
Grief Expressed
Jason Schwartzman's performance as Augie (or the actor portraying Augie in Asteroid City the play) is the center of this immensely interesting film, showing the impacts of grief left ignored.
Augie hid his wife's death from his four children for three weeks and we are introduced to him as he finally comes clean, but is still numb, not accepting her death himself.
Throughout Asteroid City, there are memorable moments when Augie seems distant from everyone around him (in addition to being literally cut off from the world in the small town of Asteroid City). The film's mantra of "You can't wake up if you don't fall asleep" seems to be suggesting how we cannot work through our grief unless we admit and accept it.
Augie's grief is present throughout the film in how Schwartzman portrays his character's disinterest in a beautiful way where we always knows how much feeling is hidden behind Augie's outward numbness.
This exploration of grief also ties into our experiences with the pandemic. The characters of Asteroid City are experiencing their own quarantine, showing how being cut off from the world and their normal lives impacts each character.
Visual Style and Production Design
As a fan of Wes Anderson's filmography, I am always excited to see how he captures specific eras with his unique vision. Asteroid City is yet another visully stunning film, which perfectly captures the televised nostalgia-fueled 1950s, which works perfectly with the film's multilayered story built around this all being a story depicted in the 1950s.
The small town with its motels, diners, and cigarette vending machines recalls the 50s we see depicted in films and in roadside attractions, building an aesthetic based around the nostalgia we feel for an era we never experienced.
Bryan Cranston's radio broadcaster recalls Rod Serling's Twilight Zone introductions. The 'actual events' depicted with their pastel colors, eye-catching symmetry, and brilliant use of negative space create a world which looks idyllic and claustrophobic.
The wide-open spaces of the desert are intentionally reminiscent of the stages our characters walk from throughout the film, tying the stage with its 'real life' segments.
The blue sky and rock formations throughout the desert feel open and free, but also feel like walls closing in our characters, quarantining them even more within their closed-off small town.
Asteroid City's Charm and Heart
There is a charm in Asteroid City that reminds me of Wes Anderson's earlier films, especially Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums.
Jason Schwartzman gave a wonderful performance, especially exploring the different levels of his character--highlighting Augie as both a person and a performance being given in the film's play within a radio broadcast within a film, but I am left wanting more time to feel like I am truly seeing the character.
Asteroid City does well in creating a character who feels central to the story, which can sometimes get lost in Anderson's large ensemble films.
Augie and his family stand out within the film, and I am constantly drawn in by these characters, especially Augie's triplet daughters. Some of the film's funniest and most darkly comedic moments come from the triplets' interactions with their family and other characters.
Their scenes are some of the most memorable and most charming throughout Asteroid City, especially the moments which explore how they react to Augie finally sharing the news of their mother's death. Seeing how differently this same emotional experience impacts father and daughters is one of Asteroid City's biggest highlights.
Conclusion
Asteroid City's heart comes from Jason Schwartzman's captivating performance. The film explores grief and the complexity of performances with a beautiful pastel daydream--capturing the mid-century modern atomic age through its use of color and space.
